Standard Webpage
A standard webpage is the standard because it is easy to develop, and therefore less expensive. A standard webpage has specific information which is displayed on it and is basically the same for every user. This type of page is best for most businesses/individuals.
Dynamic Webpage
A dynamic page is dynamic because it can changes according to certain pieces of information (e.g. the date or time, user preferences/input, etc.). Dynamic pages can be used in many different ways including guestbooks, calculators, registration forms, calendars. You don’t have to have a completely dynamic website to have these things on your website either, dynamic web pages work well along side standard webpages.
Hosting
First things first. If you want a website, you must have hosting, it just cannot happen without it.
What is hosting? Hosting is kind of like a house for the files that make up your website. The hosting server is where the website lives on the Internet, if anyone wants to see the website, they have to go to the server (see Domain Registration for how they get there).

Domain Registration
Once again, first things first. If you want a website you must have a domain name. That is unless you want people to find your business at mybusiness.freehost.com. A typical domain would be www.lightmybeacon.com.
We compared the hosting to a house, so we’ll keep going with that theme. A domain is to hosting, like an address is to a house, it is how people know where you are. Without a domain, people would not be able to find your website (or get to it if they knew about it).
